Mark Stratton

My name is Mark Stratton and I have over 40 years of law enforcement experience in the communications field for Brookings and Brookings county. I am proud to endorse Dave Biteler for Brookings County Sheriff.

I have known Dave since 2002 when he was hired by the Brookings Police as a patrolman. Working in communications I got to know Dave very well. It did not surprise me to see Dave earn the respect of everyone he worked with and move up through the ranks and become a leader for the department.

When he was hired at the sheriff's office he again worked up through the ranks and was promoted by the current Sheriff to Assistant Sheriff. It says a lot about Dave's character, leadership and commitment to law enforcement that he always gets promoted to leadership rolls. I know Dave to be honest and holds himself to the highest standards.

That is why I hope you will join me in voting for Dave Biteler for our next Brookings County Sheriff!
