I've known Dave since we moved to Brookings back in 1984. I've had the opportunity to watch him in the various positions he has held in Brookings County and he has even worked for me in his spare time installing camera and access equipment across South Dakota. He's even helped me since I retired with some things I could no longer do for myself.

I can't think of a better person to serve as Brookings County Sheriff. Both personally and professionally Dave has been blessed with integrity, energy, focus, efficiency and dedication. I have learned from first hand experience and observation that anything Dave says he will get do will get done.
